New Puritan Plant in Tennessee Hiring for Management Positions
Guilford, ME - Today, Puritan Medical Products—North America’s swab experts—announced that its new “P4” plant in Orlinda, Tennessee is hiring for management positions. Integral to the success of Puritan’s Orlinda facility and COVID-19 test swab production writ large, the new positions are salaried roles with full 401(k), insurance, and paid vacation benefits.
Examples of management positions include Director of Manufacturing, Facilities Manager, and Production Supervisor. All roles can be found here.
Puritan confirmed the opening of the Orlinda manufacturing and distribution center in April 2021, planning to create as many as 625 new jobs by 2026. With construction nearly finished, the state-of-the-art facility will expand Puritan’s national presence and increase access to a larger, more diverse workforce outside of Maine. The company chose Tennessee for the location, logistics, and incentives offered by state and county development officials.
The need for human capital is especially important as the COVID-19 pandemic drags on. Eager to reward hard-working people, Puritan is confident that its small-town roots and family-style culture will attract countless employees to the Orlinda plant.
“People are the source of our success,” said Timothy Templet, Executive Vice President of Sales at Puritan. “Whatever the issue at hand—from COVID-19 to forensics and animal diagnostics—Puritan has more than a century of experience meeting the challenge and creating a brighter future. We hope that today’s job-seekers will look to our sustained success and join a 105-year-old, family-owned company.”
