Puritan Offers DNA Free Swabs

Puritan Medical Products announced today the launch of a comprehensive new line of Human DNA and DNase Free sample collection devices. These products have all been certified as free of Human DNA contamination down to less than 25 pg, and also to be DNase free by Clean Earth Technologies of Winston–Salem North Carolina (www.cleanearthtech.com) Copies of the testing certification documents are available.

The lack of even trace amounts of Human DNA or DNase make this line of swabs ideal for collection and transfer of even the most minute amounts of DNA.

Currently, the Puritan DNA Free product line includes cotton tipped swabs, foam swabs, and nylon tipped flocked swabs. All of these products are manufactured in the United States.
