Puritan Medical Products Receives Prestigious Innovation & Technology Award

MAY 23, 2017 | GUILFORD, ME (U.S.) – In recognition for their cutting-edge technology and ability to adapt, Puritan recently received the People's United Bank Innovation and Technology Award at the Maine Family Business Awards gala.

The award was given to Puritan by the Institute for Family-Owned Business in partnership with MEMIC. The awards recognize companies in the state that develop and demonstrate consistent excellence in terms of business success, family ownership, and responsibility to their local community.

Puritan received the People's United Bank Innovation and Technology Award because of the company's strong history of innovation, with IFB citing “the company's ability to adapt to a changing marketplace" and preservation of more than 200 manufacturing jobs in Maine.
